Well. I still do not know what to tell you. That explains my response time.
I love what you have done. Your compilation made me discover Classic Rock (my parents are more the classical-music kind) when I was about 15 years old. I'm now 20, and I still have it in my music collection - although I also have most of its songs a second time, with the artist "best of" or discography.
I must reckon my tastes have polished, and I do not always agree on your selection (no Velvet Underground or Lou Reed?), but your work is as good for someone who wants to discover the great bands as for someone looking for forgotten pearls (although I think I would recommend the Nuggets series of compilation albums to someone aiming at this goal).
I am nowadays unbeatable among my friends about classic rock bands - I'm in love with The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Lou Reed, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, King Crimson, The Grateful Dead and so on - and this started thanks to you (however, I must add that mean French culture about classic rock does not compare with the USA's).
I know several friends who discovered classic rock through you Rock Top. There seems to be a wold wide understanding about the quality of your list: 172 000 Google results, and "bacobens" is correctly recognized by Google's result proposals.
Well, I believe that's it. Congratulations, and thank you.
PS: how often do you get in touch with people that thank you for you work?
PPS: I appeal to you indulgence as to the quality of my English - as you have realized, I am not a native speaker.
